Six local sponsor churches and local business contributions provided funds to host a family fun carnival where all activities were FREE. This included games, prizes, food, beverages, dunkin booth, youth activities, moon bounce. Local civic groups such as Lancaster Lions Club provided diabetes screening, Historic Christ Church provided games from the 1700's, Lancaster Masonic Union Lodge #88 provided children's/adult id's, K-9 demonstration by Lancaster County Sheriff's Dept and equipment on display by White Stone United Methodist Church. Smiles the Clown provided character balloons for all children. This was a day of "fun in the sun" not just for the 350 children who attended but for adults also.
